John F Doane, MD, F.A.C.S.

	Dr. Doane is a refractive surgeon and corneal transplantation specialist in private practice in Kansas City with Discover Vision Centers and is on the clinical faculty of the Department of Ophthalmology, Kansas University Medical Center. A Phi Beta Kappa graduate of the University of Missouri, he received his doctorate of medicine with Alpha Omega Alpha honors from the University of Kansas School of Medicine. Dr. Doane completed ophthalmology residency at Kansas University where he was selected Chief Resident and is fellowship trained in Cornea, Refractive and Anterior Segment Surgery by Stephen G. Slade, M.D. at The Laser Center of Houston, University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston and Luis A. Ruiz, M.D. of Centro Ophthalomogico - Colombiano; Bogota, Colombia.
