John C Kunesh, MD

	Dr. John C. Kunesh graduated from Notre Dame University with highest honors in 1989 and was elected to Phi Beta Kappa honor society. He subsequently received his medical degree magna cum laude from Ohio State University, graduating third in his class. He received numerous honors including membership to Alpha Omega Alpha, the Watzman Achievement Award for Academic Excellence, and the Eli G. Alcorn Award as the top medical student in ophthalmology. He completed his ophthalmology residency at Ohio State University where he served as Chief Resident his final year. Dr. Kunesh then completed a fellowship in oculoplastic reconstructive surgery at Ohio State University and the Royal Liverpool & Royal Manchester Hospitals in England. Dr. Kunesh is board certified. He is clinical assistant professor in the Department of Ophthalmology at Ohio State University, serving as a surgical instructor for residents at the Dayton Veterans Administration Medical Center Eye Clinic.
