Laura L Harris, MD

	Dr. Harris has extensive background and training in microsurgical and laser refractive vision correction procedures. She obtained her residency and fellowship training from the prestigious Wilmer Ophthalmological Institute of the Johns Hopkins University in corneal transplantation, cataract, and refractive surgery. She trained directly with the top world-renown corneal and LASIK surgeons. Dr. Harris has extensive research experience at the National Eye Institute at NIH in the highly competitive Howard Hughes Research Scholars program. She has published and presented regionally and nationally, numerous articles on corneal and refractive surgery. Additionally, she has won regional and national awards for her innovative research.
