Dr. Fishman received a B.S. degree from Tulane University and then went on to earn his Doctorate in Medicine from Temple University School of Medicine. He interned at Albert Einstein Medical Center and later completed his residency training in ophthalmology at New York Medical College. Since 1985, Dr. Fishman as been in private practice in Pembroke Pines. Although he treats all types of eye diseases, Dr. Fishman specializes in refractive surgery, including radial keratotomy, laser and small incision cataract surgery. Dr. Fishman is an active member of the International Society of Refractive Surgeons and is Board Certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology. He is a Fellow of the American Academy of Ophthalmology and the American College of Surgeons.
