	Michael E. Somers, M.D., F.A.C.S. is an honors graduate of Brown University and Brown University Medical school in Providence Rhode Island.His ophthalmology residency is from Yale University where he was chief resident his final year. He then completed an additional fellowship year at L.S.U. Eye Center in New Orleans, Louisiana. He is board certified and a member of many professional and honor societies.
