Timothy L. Schneider, M.D. is a graduate of Mayo Medical School in Rochester, Minnesota, and completed his internship at the Mayo Graduate School of Medicine in 1991. He trained at Wilmer Eye Institute of the John Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore and completed his fellowship training in cornea, external disease and refractive surgery with Minnesota Eye Consultants in 1994. Dr. Schneider has written numerous articles and book chapters and has made presentations at major medical conferences on his area of expertise. He has a special interest in corneal diseases, refractive and cataract surgery. He is the only surgeon in Northeast Florida who is LASIK certified by the American Board of Eye Surgeons.
