William M Reiff, MD

	William M. Reiff, M.D. has practiced ophthalmology in Elgin, Il. since 1978. He graduated from the University of Illinois Medical School in 1973 followed by an internship at Northwestern University. He completed his ophthalmology residency at the University of Illinois Eye and Ear Infirmary researching the effect of vitamin therapy on corneal wound healing. Dr. Reiff was the first surgeon in the Elgin area to perform refractive procedures to reduce patients reliance on glasses. He was also the first in the area to perform no-stitch cataract removal.
