	Dr.Mackman is a Board Certified, Fellowship trained, Corneal/Refractive surgeon. Dr. Mackman has been in practice and has been performing refractive surgery procedures for over 20 years. Dr. Mackman has published numerous papers in major eye journals and has taught courses at major eye conventions. Dr. Mackman brought the first FDA approved excimer laser to the Phoenix area, performed the first laser procedures on this machine, and was the first to teach area physicians how to perform excimer laser procedures. Dr.Mackman also performed the first live, televised Lasik procedure in the Phoenix area on Channel 3 News.
