Dr. Keehn was raised in Southern California and the Washington D.C. area. He received a B.A. from North Carolina State University. After college, he performed two years of research at UCLA in the Neuroscience Institute and went on to receive an M.D. from Tulane University School of Medicine. He remained in New Orleans for his internship at Charity Hospital, and then completed his ophthalmology training at Hermann Eye Cener at UT-Houston before starting private practive. He is board certified and a Fellow of the American Academy of Ophthalmology. Dr. Keehn currently serves as a Clinical Instructor at the University of Texas Health Science Center at Dallas Southwestern Medical School and is a member of the Texas Medical Association, the Dallas County Medical Association, the American Academy of Ophthalmology, the Texas Ophthalmological American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgery, and Contact Lens Association of Ophthalmologists.
