Aron D Rose, MD

	Dr. Aron Rose specializes in small incision cataract surgery and glaucoma. He received his undergraduate degree with honors from Brown University, his medcial degree at New York Medical College, and his specialty training at The Mount Sinai Medical Center in New York City. He is the previous Director of Residency Training at Yale, where he currently holds a dual appointment as Associate Clinical Professor in the Schools of Medicine and Nursing. Dr. Rose has been an active faculty member of the prestigious Project Orbis since 1989, at which time he became the youngest invited faculty member of the flying eye hospital. He developed a surgical training curriculum at Yale, where he remains a core lecturer on cataract surgery and the management of its complications. He is a consultant on emerging surgical technology, and an active participant in numerous worldwide studies which seek to advance the detection and treatment of cataract and glaucoma at home in the developing world.
